Family Togetherness is Best

“It is in the shelter of each other that the people live.” –Old Irish Saying

Together we can move mountains, on our own we’d be lucky to make it through the day.

In today’s turbulent world, a world full of variables and uncertainties, is there anything or anyplace in which we can go or turn to for safety and security?

The answer is (or at least should be) YES, our FAMILIES. Family should be, and needs to be, a place of safety and security, an oasis from the storm, the place in which we recharge and refuel and get ready to face the next round of difficulties life inevitably brings our way.

Families that live in the shelter of each other invariably have strong, confident, and well-adjusted members.  Selfish families in which each member is to him or her self tend to produce family members who are unsure of themselves and lack the self-confidence, fortitude, resources, and endurance necessary for success.

So what is one to do who comes from a family characterized by selfishness? The answer is to find a family, distant relative, or group, to love and contribute to.

The main thing is to give shelter, take shelter, and LIVE in the shelter of each other.
