Do you ever feel overwhelmed my the responsibility of being a single mom?
If yes that’s good because it shows you’re normal.
- Make sure to pace yourself.
- Make sure to recognize your limitations.
- Make sure to have a resource list on hand of people to whom you can reach out for support.
- Make sure to have several instant, ready made meals in your freezer.
- Make sure to have several cans of tuna and several bags of chips in your pantry.
- Make sure to say “no” when you mean no.
- Make sure to only say “yes” when you mean yes.
- Make sure to give your children a hug, kiss, and to say the words “I love you” on a daily basis.
- Make sure never to criticize your children’s father in front of them.
- Make sure to make self-care your number one priority.
